Digital Library of India
http://www.dli.ernet.in/
Up until now, the transmission of our cultural heritage has depended on limited numbers of copies in fragile media. The fires of Alexandria irrevocably severed our access to any of the works of the ancients. In a thousand years, only a few of the paper documents we have today will survive the ravages of deterioration, loss, and outright destruction. With no more than 10 million unique book and document editions before the year 1900, and perhaps 100 million since the beginning of recorded history, the task of preservation is much larger. With new digital technology, though, this task is within the reach of a single concerted effort for the public good, and this effort can be distributed to libraries, museums, and other groups in all countries.
Existing archives of paper have many shortcomings. Many other works still in existence today are rare, and only accessible to a small population of scholars and collectors at specific geographic locations. A single wanton act of destruction can destroy an entire line of heritage. Furthermore, contrary to the popular beliefs, the libraries, museums, and publishers do not routinely maintain broadly comprehensive archives of the considered works of man. No one can afford to do this, unless the archive is digital.
Digital technology can make the works of man permanently accessible to the billions of people all over the world. J.N.Tata and other great philanthropists, and visionary information scientist like Dr S. R. Ranganathan, in past centuries have recognized the great potential of public libraries to improve the quality of life and provide opportunity the citizenry. A language independent digital library, widely available through free access on the Internet, will improve the global society in ways beyond measurement.
The technological advances today make it possible to think in terms of storing all the knowledge of the human race in digital form by the year 2008.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) is a web-based publication of virtually all MIT course content. OCW is open and available to the world and is a permanent MIT activity.
http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/web/home/home/index.htm
MIT OpenCourseWare is a free publication of MIT course materials that reflects almost all the undergraduate and graduate subjects taught at MIT.
* OCW is not an MIT education.
* OCW does not grant degrees or certificates.
* OCW does not provide access to MIT faculty.
* Materials may not reflect entire content of the course.
National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning(NPTEL)
http://www.nptel.iitm.ac.in/
Each course contains materials that can be covered in depth in 40 or more lecture hours. In addition, 110 courses have been developed in video format, with each course comprising of approximately 40 or more one-hour lectures. In the next phase other premier institutions are also likely to participate in content creation.
NPTEL is an acronym for National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning which is an initiative by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for creating course contents in engineering and science.
NPTEL as a project originated from many deliberations between IITs, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) during the years 1999-2003. A proposal was jointly put forward by five IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur and Madras) and IISc for creating contents for 100 courses as web based supplements and 100 complete video courses, for forty hours of duration per course. Web supplements were expected to cover materials that could be delivered in approximately forty hours.
Five engineering branches (Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical) and core science programmes that all engineering students are required to take in their undergraduate engineering programme in India were chosen initially. Contents for the above courses were based on the model curriculum suggested by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the syllabi of major affiliating Universities in India.
* The basic objective of science and engineering education in India is to devise and guide reforms that will transform India into a strong and vibrant knowledge economy. In this context, the focus areas for NPTEL project have been i) higher education, ii) professional education, iii) distance education and iv) continuous and open learning, roughly in that order of preference.
* Manpower requirement for trained engineers and technologists is far more than the number of qualified graduates that Indian technical institutions can provide currently. Among these, the number of institutions having fully qualified and trained teachers in all disciplines being taught forms a small fraction.
A majority of teachers are young and inexperienced and are undergraduate degree holders. Therefore, it is important for institutions like IITs, IISc, NITs and other leading Universities in India to disseminate teaching/learning content of high quality through all available media. NPTEL would be among the foremost and an important step in this direction and will use technology for dissemination.
* India needs many more teachers for effective implementation of higher education in professional courses. Therefore, methods for training young and inexperienced teachers to enable them carry out their academic responsibilities effectively are a must. NPTEL contents can be used as core curriculum content for training purposes.
* A large number of students who are unable to attend scholarly institutions through NPTEL will have access to quality content from them.
All those who are gainfully employed in industries and all other walks of life and who require continuous training and updating their knowledge can benefit from well-developed and peer-reviewed course contents by the IITs and IISc.

MANAGING INTERVIEWS YOUR WAY
Significance of interview needs no elaboration. As Interviews are inevitable, we should prepare well to achieve our objective and climb up the ladder. At the outset, it is pertinent to mention that the major portion of the interview can well be managed your way. Management has become part and parcel of our life, any thing and every thing can be managed well if one’s approach is methodical. Let me assure you, if you plan your preparations systematically, do your homework properly, nothing can stop you to manage the outcome of interviews your way.
v Endeavour has been made in this article to discuss some of the important aspects where candidates generally go wrong on aspects which are left out unprepared. I recently interviewed young graduates & postgraduates which has further sounded me to share my experience for the benefit of aspiring interviews.
Biodata/Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV)
v The importance of preparing a bio data form or filling up application form carefully and meticulously can not be over emphasized. It must be remembered that questions in interviews flow from this document. It is very important to fill in all the columns carefully and not consider anyone of them as unimportant; even the minutest detail should be filled properly. The employer receives thousands of applications, your CV/resume should stand out/draw attention of the employer to be short listed for the interview. The following should be ensured :
m Quality of paper should be good bond paper, avoid photostat paper.
m There should be no spelling mistakes, get it checked by a second/third person.
m Details should be clear & easy to read.
m CV /resume should preferably be in one page, in any case not more than two pages.
m It should be presented in such a manner that it gives brief overview of yourself, high-lights your main skills and personal attributes, gives your core areas of competence.
m Resume/CV should preferably be forwarded under well drafted covering letter.
m Most importantly it should motivate the reader to know more about you
v Interview Call “Congratulat-ions” you have successfully crossed over initial hurdle in the selection process. Receipt of call letter indicates you have been short listed among hundreds/thousands of applicants on the basis of your qualifications/experience presented in your CV/resume. The real battle starts now, it has been experienced that there are generally gaps found at the time of interview in the skills/ experience projected and actual. One has to make all out endeavour to take account of each word mentioned in CV/Resume. For example if you have mentioned “You are adaptable to changing circumstances, you should be prepared to substantiate with situations/circumstances which confirm your above quality. One has to be very careful in preparing CV/resume. One has to put his best foot forward & prepare for the ensuing interview accordingly .It has been seen that most of the candidates go wrong due to their over reliance on their qualifications. It must be understood that one has been short listed on the basis of qualification, It is now time to perform. All those who have been short listed have almost equal or better qualifications. Your success in interview will depend on your performance, probably better performance than those having better qualifications.
Preliminary preparations
v As soon as one receive the interview call one must start gathering information about the organization. The best way is to visit the web site of the organization, liaise with your colleagues/friends/acquain-tances in the same organization. It is always beneficial to visit the organization or write to them to obtain brochure containing requisite information. You are likely to perform better in the interview if you are well informed about the organization. You should be fully conversant with the organization, its products, its location, set up, turnover, work culture, problem areas if any, competitors. Any query about the Salary / entitlement of leave, terms and conditions should be found out prior to facing the interview. You should not keep these queries for the opportunity which you may get during the interview. It is advisable to ask some positive questions, such as about training opportunities/ career prospects.
The Inevitable
v If one prepares well & adheres to the points enumerated above, one would definitely be facing the interviewers. It must always be remembered that inter-viewers try their best to make the interviews comfortable & relaxed so that necessary rapport is established between them. Interviewers can evaluate interviews properly only if candidates are at ease during the interview.
v The purpose of interview is to find out your potential and abilities, keeping in view the organizations requirements.
v The skills most organizations look for in their candidates are :
l Team spirit.
l Good communication skill.
l Leadership & organizational capability.
l Creativity & resourcefulness.
l Adaptability & motivation.
l Problem solving and analytical approach.
l Mental alertness, clear & logical thinking.
l Intellectual & moral Integrity.
l Factual awareness.
Your conduct/Appearance
v It has been rightly found out by researches that your image depends more than 90% on how you look and behave and balance on what you say. With the passage of time, people have become more and more unconventional or casual about dresses. One should avoid putting on loud dresses, ladies should avoid revealing dresses. To be on safer side, your attire should match with the dress culture prevailing in the organization.
v One should reach the venue of the interview more than little earlier than the appointed time. One should take into consideration traffic jams and unforeseen delays. You should also take into account the time required to get your testimonial/certificates verified prior to interview. One should go through the interview call letter properly; at times place of interview is other than office premises.
v Your entry and exits to the interview room should have desired impact, while entering, walk straight, head up, smiling. You should sit straight comfortably. You should keep your hands relaxed preferably in your lap. Woman should place her handbag on the floor next to her. Keeping eye contact with the interviewers is very important. Remember you exit is as important as your entry. You must thank the interviewers, smile and than leave. Your body language should continue to show enthusiasm for the entire period i.e. entry to exit.
Likely Questions
l How would you describe yourself? or Tell me about yourself? or Please introduce yourself or Tell us about your family background.
l What are your strength & weaknesses?
l What attracted you to this particular job?
l What are your short term and long term goals?
l What has been your best achievement so far?
l How can your presence benefit this organization?
l Questions concerning your hobby & games you play.
l What changes you would like to bring if you are selected?
l What do you think of your previous employer?
l Questions on your failures /challenges faced earlier.
l What are your salary expectations.
l Do you have any questions?
Most Common Errors
l Haphazard CV / resume.
l Arriving at the last moment or late arrival at interview location.
l Not dressed up properly.
l Try to become perfectionist which result into nervousness
l No sincere efforts made to find out about the organization.
l Not able to establish connection with one’s skills and requirements of the organization
l Unable to provide evidence for Qualities/skills mentioned in the CV/resume.
l Answering questions in yes or no, or in a disorganized manner with no or inadequate elaboration/explanations.
l Not showing enthusiasm, lack of motivation to do something remarkable/ extra.
l Giving memorized parrot like answer which lacks impact and conviction.
l Speaking poor about the previous organization/bosses/colleagues.
l Initiating questions about the salary, let interviewer ask this first.
l Confronting interviewers
l SWOT analysis is not properly done. One must carry out detailed analysis of one’s strengths & weaknesses & threats and opportunities in one’s field. There are number of books available which can be referred for the SWOT analysis.
Useful Tips
l You should read news papers and minimum one magazine regularly. You may also listen to BBC for their detailed news. You should develop a habit to analyze the news and draw your own conclusions. In controversial matters it is better to be modest and not get sentimental on issues. You should be intelligent enough to avoid confrontation with interviewer.
l You may carry a small brief case but do not carry casual bag or shopping bag.
l You should carry copy of CV/ application form forwarded to the particular organization, should go through it in detail a day prior to your interview.
l Do not initiate hand shake but do it positively in response to interviewer’s gesture.
l When ever you are asked to tell about yourself, you should say, who you are and what you are interested in doing. (Mostly as per job requirement).
l Use simple and short sentences to give your answers. Do not try to speak fast, be clear in your expressions. One can develop this habit with constant practice. Contents of the answer are more important than your language.
l Do not give one word answer. Suppose you are asked “will you be able to adjust in new environment”?, Instead of answering “yes I will”, you should also supplement your answer with valid reason and short justification.
l Do not try to memorise any answer, you should answer spontaneously. Memorized answers lack required impact.
l Your achievements and favourable facts should be readily available; you should seek opportunity to show these during the interview.
l If you do not know the answer it is better to admit the fact, instead of beating about the bush. You should know what the interviewer expects from you.
v By now you must have understood the kind of preparation required to perform well in interviews. Your qualifications, appearance and initial impression alone are not enough in this competitive world, you have to demonstrate that “extra edge” to manage the outcome of interview your way.

Thoughts
This is a Message received from a friend:
I don't know what you guys are paying for petrol... but here in
But my line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every liter. Here at the Marian Hill Pipeline, where I work in
One day is diesel; the next day is jet fuel, and petrol, LRP and Unleaded. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 liters.
ONLY BUY OR FILL UP YOUR CAR OR BIKKIE IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN THE GROUND TEMPERATURE iS STILL COLD. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the denser the fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening.... your liter is not exactly a liter.
In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the petrol, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products play an important role.
A1degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps..
WHEN YOU'RE FILLING UP, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER OF THE NOZZLE TO A FAST MODE. If you look, you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. In slow mode, you should be pumping on low speed, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created, while you are pumping.
All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor.
Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money.
ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TIPS IS TO FILL UP WHEN YOUR TANK IS HALF FULL. The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank, the less air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine. Petroleum storage tanks have an internal floating roof.
This roof serves as zero clearance between the petrol and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated, so that every liter is actually the exact amount.
ANOTHER REMINDER, IF THERE IS A FUEL TRUCK PUMPING INTO THE STORAGE TANKS, WHEN YOU STOP TO BUY, DO NOT FILL UP - most likely the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.
Hope, this will help you get the maximum value for your
Healthy life

Online Farming
Agropedia, an open source encyclopaedia for agriculture, has been launched by the government
http://agropedia.iitk.ac.in/
It disseminates information to farmers and enables sharing of knowledge amongst them
The site is a follow-up to a-Aqua, an online agriculture Q&A forum
Is India's next farming revolution taking roots online? Agropedia, an agricultural encyclopaedia, a cross between Krishi Darshan and Wikipedia, was launched last month by the government to make scientific information available to farmers and at the same time collate and preserve traditional farming knowledge. This initiative is based on the 'wiki' concept that allows anyone to access or modify content on a website.
Led by IIT Kanpur and the Hyderabad-based International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), the "one-stop" information hub has several partners, from the G.B. Pant Agricultural University in Uttarakhand, to the University of Agricultural Sciences in Dharwad, Maharashtra. The Rs 1.3 crore venture is part of a larger knowledge dissemination project worth Rs 8.4 crore and is being supported by the National Agricultural Innovation Project.
"We found just around 3,000 entries related to agriculture on Wikipedia. It is therefore an attempt to bridge this knowledge disparity on the web," says V. Balaji of ICRISAT. In a few weeks, Agropedia has already drawn visitors from over 40 countries. Agropedia has two sections: Gyan Dhara and Jan Dhara. The former includes moderated information from agricultural scientists and researchers and the latter has content generated by the interested professional/layperson. While now it is restricted to nine crops, including rice and wheat, Agropedia will include others later.
In its current form, where all of its content is in English, the encyclopedia is mainly aimed at the field workers who interact with farmers. "In about six months' time we hope to finalise the content fed in by scientists and researchers. We will then begin the task of uploading information in Hindi and other regional languages to ensure wider benefits," says Prof T.V. Prabhakar of IIT Kanpur.
The encyclopaedia is unique because unlike Wikipedia and popular search engines which use syntactic models for searches, Agropedia will use a semantic model. This means the encyclopaedia will match not just the words keyed in. For example, a search on Google for 'rice' will also throw up matches for Condoleezza Rice. But a semantic search zeroes in on the 'sense' intended. Therefore, a query with 'alphonso' and 'pest' will deliver documents with those words and also material about how to manage pests in mangoes.
More significantly, Agropedia hopes to grow to become a repository of information related to traditional farming. These may be generated in English, Hindi or other languages by its public users—many of them farmers—and freely shared. These practices include simple tips such as smearing cattle with turmeric paste to prevent them from being bitten by mosquitoes. "It's typical folk wisdom, very effective and very right. If you were to go to a research lab for a response to that problem, they would probably urge you to spray some chemical on the cow," says Prabhakar.
Such a model, however, raises concerns about biopiracy and copyrighting of traditional knowledge that may come in from farmers. "There is an immense thrust in the government these days on gathering information about folk knowledge and practices through people's biodiversity registers. This knowledge then unfortunately becomes the property of the government, not the nation, and because of this the original owners of knowledge do not benefit from its exploitation," says P. V. Sateesh of Deccan Development Society, a grassroots organisation. The encyclopaedia must ensure it doesn't contribute further to that trend.

very Intresting
on the door on which was written:
'Yesterday the person who has been Hindering your
growth in this company passed away. We invite you to
join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in
the gym'.
In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of
one of their colleagues, but after a while they
started getting curious to know who was that man who
hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company
itself. The excitement in the gym was such that
security agents were ordered to control the crowd
within the room.
The more people reached the coffin, the more the
excitement heated up. Everyone thought: 'Who is this
guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he
died!'. One by one the thrilled employees got closer
to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they
suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the
coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had
touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a
mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside
it could see himself.
There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:
'There is only one person who is capable to set limits
to your growth: it is YOU. You are the only person who
can revolutionize your life. You are the only person
who can influence your happiness, your realization and
your success. You are the only person who can help
yourself. Your life does not change when your boss
changes, when your friends change, when your parents
change, when your partner changes, when your company
changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you
go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that
you are the only one responsible for your life. 'The
most important relationship you can have is the one
you have with yourself'
Examine yourself, watch yourself.
Be aware of urself.
Don't be afraid of
difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner,
build yourself and your reality.
It's the way you face
Life that makes the difference
BEWARE
BEWARE OF THESE BANKS
Looking at the rising complaints against ICICI Bank, Citibank, and Standard Chartered Bank , we request consumers to properly read their documents and keep a record when dealing with these banks, especially regarding credit card and housing loan. These three banks are biggest defaulters and do not resolve consumer problems easily. Be aware of their terms in writing. Keep a perfect record of all correspondence with them. If they do not agree to written communication , immediately stop their services .
BEWARE OF NOKIA
Nokia assures that their handset is covered under insurance. They even provide a certificate of insurance. But the condition is that if the handset is lost/stolen, you have to lodge an FIR to seek claims. The catch here is that the police station does not lodge FIR for loss of handsets, they only register NC. So you will never get insurance claims on basis of NC.
Nokia is selling some of its degraded products that have software problems. If you come across such problem in a new set, do not waste your time in running around service centres as it is not going to help much, ask for a replacement with a new set.
DO NOT BUY NOKIA 6260
BEWARE OF AIR DECCAN
Their confirmed bookings are highly unreliable and of no guarantee that u will be allowed to fly . The booked tickets get cancelled without intimation to consumer only to be known by him when he goes to the airport to catch his flight.
BEWARE OF COUNTRY CLUB, BANGALORE
They advertise that if you take their membership, a plot of land will be given free of cost near Golden Spa at Coconut Grove. Please note Golden Spa is 35 Kns from Bangalore and the said plot of land is over 100 Kms from Bangalore . Based on false promises and with arrangement with Citibank and ICICI Bank, this team cheats the consumers of his money by asking payments through credit card.
BOOK TELESALES & RECOVERY AGENTS
If you receive unwanted advertisement / telemarketing call from any company or recovery agents. Ask their telephone number and report to the police. File a police complaint against the Chairman of the company .
BEWARE OF TATAINDICOM BROADBAND
Their promises to get you a broadband connection within a week is not to be relied upon. Once your money is stuck (about Rs. 2000), it takes lot of pains to recover it back.

ARE U BEING HARASSED BY CONSUMER COURTS?
WE ARE GATHERING INFORMATION ON CORRUPT JUDGES, REGISTRARS & CLERKS
We have received many complaints from consumers that they are being harassed in the consumer courts when they go there to submit consumer complaint and attend hearings. They are not being served properly by the clerks, and the judges keep on giving hearing dates without arriving to judgment. These acts are contrary to the purpose of setting up of consumer courts that were basically meant to help the consumers. Please inform us if you have experienced or witnessed harassment or corruption. Inform us the exact time, date, and location of the incident in writing through duly signed letter. Message from APJ Abdul Kalam
If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient.
YOU say that our laws are too old.
YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.
YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.
YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.
YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it?
Take a person on his way to Singapore .
Give him a name - 'YOURS'. Give him a face -'YOURS'.
YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best.
In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores.
YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are.
You pay $5 (approx. Rs.60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket
if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity?
In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU? YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai .
YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.
YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.
'YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.'
YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand .
Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ?
Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston ???
We are still talking of the same YOU.
YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground.
If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India ?
In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job.. Same in Japan .
Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.
We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative.
We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.
We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.
We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.
This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public.
When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child! and others,
we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? 'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system?
What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into
a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a
Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we
leave the country and run away.
Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their
glory and praise their system.
When New York becomes insecure we run to England .
When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf.
When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian
government.
Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system.
Our conscience is mortgaged to money.
Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great
deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too?.
I am echoing J. F.Kennedy's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians?..
'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA
WHAT AMERICA
AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'
Lets do what India needs from us.
Thank you,
Dr. Abdul Kalam

Life's little lessons : On giving
Read this little Story…
A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed.
The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.
That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.
What do you learn?
If you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent... This is applicable for any relationship like love, employer-employee relationship etc., Decide today to give your hundred percent to everything you do and you will sleep peacefully.
